Samuel Reed's Center for Communication Technology Profile

This year in Computer Magnet (or CCT) we explored programs of all types. From Abode Illustrator, to Scratch. This year we worked with multiple types of media. The most complex was definitely Scratch, and mainly when we made the game. It was the most frustration, project you could think of. Photoshop was easy, yet complex. The overall idea and final goal seemed easy to overcome, but the process to get there was a long execution. Photoshop was probably my favorite program because we had one assignment, where we had to recreate the cover of a magazine. I chose a magazine where it displayed Comerica Park (Detroit Tiger's Stadium), and I recreated the scene, and the writing on that magazine perfectly.

When we used InDesign, we pretty much learned how to manipulate pictures, and text. We also improved our writing skills in that section. We wrote about our hobbies, and some had a central theme of their "MeMag". Lastly, we go into HTML. To me, this section was, and is easy. Fortunately, I was able to memorize a lot of the codes by just typing them, instead of copying and pasting them. I ended up with an advantage over my classmates by knowing the codes off the top of my head. Well, enough chat, go look at some great, freshman projects!
